Ovviamente spero di poter essere almeno tra quelli che passeranno le preselezioni ... i cosidetti "ottavi" in termini da Champions League. :P Ma essere comunque notato e visionato da Simon & soci non è un risultato negativo anche se dovessi essere scartato subito.
Purtroppo negli anni '80 non c'era il Web, altrimenti mi sarei davvero divertito con loro, spedendo tutti i ritratti di John e Simon.

Di seguito metto un particolare dell'illustrazione, i componenti del Gruppo in versione "Kawaii" o "Cute", racchiusi in spillette (Pins), come andava tanto di moda negli anni '80. L'ho già detto che quegli anni erano mitici? Eh eh eh ... ^^'
Come potrete notare dall'intera illustrazione, ho rivisitato la copertina di "Rio" (1982) che allego di seguito, disegnando con il mio stile la cover girl e mixando la grafica di Rio con quella dell'album in uscita il 22 marzo: "All you need is now".
Ogni elemento grafico, compresa la scritta "All you need is now" l'ho tracciata in vettoriale. Fatto tutto a manina e Wacom! Non mi dispiacerebbe stamparmi una thirt o delle spillette di Simon, Nick, John e Roger come suggeriva una fan! Il risultato mi soddisfa.
Da notare il font originale del titolo dell'album "Rio" e come l'ho reso nella mia copertina. Osservando il font ho intravisto dei numerti e li ho resi evidenti nel mio lavoro. The Fan Page of Duran Duran, has launched a contest for fans of artistic Fab4. In giving away two tickets for the concert the band held in various countries. Always been huge fans of Duran Duran I could not participate with my illustration.
